We are seeking a highly skilled Security Locksmith to join our team at Manitoba Housing. As a key member of our security operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure installation, maintenance, and management of locks and doors throughout our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair locks and doors to ensure secure access to our facilities.
- Manage and maintain the Restricted Key System, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas.
- Collaborate with Property Managers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless security operations.
- Develop and implement procedures and policies related to locks and doors, ensuring compliance with Manitoba Housing guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our tenants and staff.
- Extensive experience as a practicing locksmith, including key cutting, lock repair, and door hardware installation.
- Experience with electronic security systems, including integration with card access, intercoms, and alarms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce reports, manuals, and procedures.
- Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and build positive working relationships.
- Proficient in Excel and experience with MS Office Suite Applications.
