Ignite Talent Solutions is representing a prestigious personal injury law firm that is expanding its team. They are in search of a dedicated litigation attorney with substantial experience in plaintiff personal injury or insurance defense.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with preparing a variety of legal documents, including factums, opinion letters, settlement conference briefs, pleadings, and various applications. You will participate in examinations for discovery, case conferences, mediations, insurance conferences, motions, appeals, pre-trial conferences, trials, and arbitrations, among other hearings. Additionally, you will engage in all facets of case management, including liability assessments, financial evaluations, and medical investigations.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of post-call experience, demonstrating a strong understanding and passion for personal injury law. Experience with mass torts and class action lawsuits is essential. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, effectively manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines. Strong collaborative skills, integrity, accountability, a proactive approach, and a positive attitude are crucial. Furthermore, candidates must hold membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
