Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will have the opportunity to pursue a Critical Care Certificate through our partnership with the BCIT Critical Care Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and identify patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing their physical, social, and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based care
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, with a focus on patient safety and well-being
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
