Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces to be covered with marble, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
- Mortar Application: Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
- Tile Installation: Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
- Tile Alignment: Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
- Grout Application: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Tile Repair: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Mosaic Installation: Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
- Underbed Installation: Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
- Material Cutting: Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
- Terra Surface Installation: Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
- Tile Strip Installation: Install tile strips.
- Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, including handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to work with attention to detail is essential for this role.
- Workload: The workload is demanding, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Schedule: The role requires a 30-44 hour workweek.
