About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Care Worker to join our team at Home Instead Senior Care - Toronto Central. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to seniors in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and physical well-being
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required
