Food Service Associate

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Aramark Canada East. As a key member of our Dalhousie Food Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced food service environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Educate customers on menu items, daily features, and dining hall events, promoting a positive and engaging experience.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
- Operate kitchen equipment and tools, including knives, pots, and pans, with precision and efficiency.
- Organize production and store products properly, ensuring efficient inventory management and minimizing waste.
- Prepare and present food according to recipes and presentation standards, showcasing your culinary skills and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and management, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Stock and merchandise shelves, cereal and bread bar, salad bar, and coolers, maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing display.
- Perform other job duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience in the restaurant/food service industry is an asset, but not required.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
