About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterloo/St. Jacobs. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Work Environment: Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
