About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues using state-of-the-art computer systems
  • Perform tire and tire repair services
  • Work on car heating and air conditioning systems
  • Repair steering and suspension systems
  • Replace belts and hoses
  • Service radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Work on batteries, starting, and charging systems
  • Repair brake systems
  • Perform oil services
  • Diagnose and repair check engine light issues
  • Work on mufflers and exhaust systems
  • Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics
  • High personal productivity and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
  • Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
  • Provincial Certificate of Qualification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner and tools preferred)
  • Ability to service both import and domestic vehicles
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25.00 per hour. MIDAS locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees, and your application will be directed to the MIDAS franchise location you applied to.
