Cyber Security Architect

At T-Net British Columbia, we are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure IT infrastructure solutions that align with our business objectives and compliance demands.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a comprehensive and secure architecture for our IT and cloud environments.
- Identify and assess security risks associated with the IT and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Ensure that all IT and cloud solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, IT development, and operations teams to integrate security practices into the IT infrastructure and cloud deployments.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in IT and cloud security technologies and practices.
- Collaborate with software development teams to embed security best practices in application design and deployment processes.
- Oversee the mapping of data flows within the organization, identifying critical data and ensuring it is securely managed and protected.
- Expertise in network security, system security, and cloud security best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a particular emphasis on working effectively with enterprise architecture teams and software developers.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with enterprise architects, developers, and other key stakeholders.
- Expert in Visio and technical documentation.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
