Job Overview
The Connected Vehicle Team at Zobility is transforming the vehicle ownership journey through innovative software solutions delivered to Uconnect customers via various digital platforms, including mobile applications, websites, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
Role Summary
The Performance Test Engineer will play a crucial role in the vehicle integration and validation process by taking ownership of the end-to-end validation of connected services features, alongside conducting Customer Functional Objective (CFO) testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Performance Platform Engineers to generate the necessary documentation for issue resolution, ensuring effective communication across multiple vehicle disciplines.
- Support the vehicle integration team by ensuring that the vehicle fleet is equipped with the latest software and hardware, and possess the capability to gather essential data from vehicles as needed.
Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited institution.
- Proficient understanding of FMEA, design validation (DV), process validation (PV), and test planning.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited program.
