Job Summary

The Northwest Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified Long Term Occasional Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time equivalent position that requires a strong commitment to Catholic education and a demonstrated faith life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students in a Catholic school setting, adhering to the board's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students, aligning with the Ontario curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Qualifications and current registration from the Ontario College of Teachers.
  • Primary/Junior and/or Intermediate qualifications.
  • Demonstrated faith life and a strong commitment to Catholic education.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen.
Application Procedure
  • Submit a cover letter and resume outlining academic and professional qualifications.
  • Provide the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of three professional references, one of which must be from a current or former supervisor.
  • Include a current Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualifications.
