About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Hendrik's Barbershop. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting and grooming services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and style hair according to client preferences
  • Shampoo and condition hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Provide hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting
  • Offer scalp conditioning massages
Work Environment

Our Barbershop is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our team to provide exceptional customer service. You will be required to work in a standing position for long periods of time and have good hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
