Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work in various settings.
Key Responsibilities- Gather medical histories from patients and their families.
- Conduct thorough examinations to assess health conditions.
- Guide patients in adopting healthier lifestyles and overcoming detrimental habits.
- Request and interpret diagnostic tests to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Prescribe medications and oversee treatment protocols.
- Administer vaccinations and preventive care measures.
- Engage in healthcare policy discussions and planning initiatives.
- Provide obstetric care, including prenatal and postnatal services.
- Offer health advice and education to patients.
- Support patients and their families with counseling on various health-related issues.
- Certification from the College of Family Physicians (CCFP).
- Valid licensure from provincial or territorial authorities.
- Successful completion of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and II).
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Work EnvironmentThis position requires work in multiple locations, with no remote work options available.
CompensationThe salary range for this position is $250,000 to $350,000 annually, based on a 35-hour work week, and is negotiable.
Employment Terms- Full-time, permanent position.
- May require weekend and shift work.
- Two vacancies available.
