Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as a vital contributor, collaborating closely with our Customer Success Manager to address complex challenges. You will engage with clients post-sale to ensure they achieve their desired outcomes and to outline the architectural framework for success. Your expertise will be crucial in providing technical support to guarantee that client requirements are fulfilled and that our solutions operate as intended.
Role Overview
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will deliver architectural guidance, develop use cases, map features, and provide consulting and implementation strategies for our clients. You will liaise with our Professional Services and Product/Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions. Your role will also involve responding to inquiries from potential clients, addressing both technical and business concerns, while keeping abreast of industry developments and innovations within Informatica.
Technologies You Will Utilize:
- Informatica Intelligent Cloud Data Management iPaaS: Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, Cloud Data Governance & Quality, Cloud Data Marketplace, Cloud Data Access Management, Master Data Management.
- Informatica On-Premises Software Products: Enterprise Data Catalog, Axon, IDQ, Data Privacy Management, PowerCenter, Data Engineering Integration, and hands-on scripting experience in Python, Core Java, Unix, and Windows.
Your Daily Activities
- Deliver architectural and design insights, develop use cases, and offer implementation advice.
- Collaborate with our Professional Services team to ensure a smooth transition for broader service engagements.
- Work alongside Product/Engineering Teams to provide recommendations for optimal solution design and feedback to enhance product alignment with customer needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and a technical mentor to colleagues, guiding them through the post-sales implementation and expansion phases.
- Address customer inquiries promptly with detailed technical explanations of product functionalities.
- Serve as a technical mentor within the customer success team.
- Prepare and present innovative solution proposals or technical presentations.
- Create and publish external-facing documents, including whitepapers, case studies, architectural blueprints, and articles for industry publications.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Technology.
- 7+ years of overall experience, with at least 5 years focused on Informatica products in the Data Governance & Privacy domain, including Informatica Cloud Services and related products.
- Familiarity with major Cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with enterprise products from SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle, IBM, and Tableau as sources or targets for Informatica Integration.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in implementing Informatica Data Governance solutions, including Informatica Cloud Services and Enterprise Data Catalog.
- Technical proficiency in deploying both Cloud and on-premise software solutions and architectures.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud Ecosystem is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships and complex data management needs effectively.
- Strong database skills in at least one major system (Oracle DB, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase, Teradata).
- Experience in customer-facing roles as a Developer or Architect, demonstrating a commitment to customer care and diligence.
- Ability to track and communicate all customer interactions to ensure closure and acceptance.
