A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTORATION PROJECT COORDINATOR

As a Restoration Project Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and meet our quality standards. To property owners, adjusters, and insurance representatives, you represent our company. You build trust as you consult with clients regarding projects, addressing their inquiries and following up to ensure their complete satisfaction. You prepare precise quotations, job costing, and estimates.

Throughout each project you oversee, you monitor progress and quality of work to ensure that emergency and rebuilding timelines are adhered to in accordance with policies and guidelines. You manage various restoration claims, including water and fire damage for both residential and commercial properties. When necessary, you handle disputes and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude. The strong relationships you cultivate with homeowners, adjusters, property managers, and other key stakeholders assist you in generating new leads. Your expertise in the restoration and construction industry, your skills in estimation, and your sales acumen contribute to your success in this project management role.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the restoration or renovation sector
  • Understanding of building construction and regulations
  • Familiarity with Xactimate software
  • Experience in budget planning and monitoring
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean criminal history
  • Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Physical capabilities to handle labor-intensive tasks, including material handling, lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in confined spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
