Position Overview

As a Home Support Worker at Guizhen GUO, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients in their own residences. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of personal care and support tasks aimed at promoting independence and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Training will be provided; previous experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Work Environment
  • Setting: You will work primarily in the homes of clients, providing a non-smoking environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Dispense medications as prescribed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Encourage and assist in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Provide feeding assistance when necessary.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals tailored to client needs.
Certifications
  • CPR Certification is required.
  • First Aid Certification is required.
Target Audience
  • Services will be directed towards adults and elderly clients.
Work Schedule
  • This is a permanent position with working hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week.
