Division Chief Opportunity at Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Chief to lead our Pediatric Medicine Division at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and quality of care provided by our medical staff, as well as driving academic activity and operational excellence within the division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead clinical care, teaching, research, and advocacy in the Division of Pediatric Medicine
  • Oversee medical staff leadership and academic activity within the division
  • Collaborate with administrative dyad to oversee operational resources and implement efficient clinical delivery processes
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and academic activity
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for a full-time academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa
  • Strong operational and academic leadership skills
  • Proven record of achievement in comprehensive patient care, clinical program development, education, research, and/or quality assurance
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Pediatrics) certified/eligible, or equivalent
  • Eligible for medical license in Ontario
