Caregiver Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team at Piccadilly Seniors Community. As a caregiver nurse, you will provide personal and nursing care to residents, perform assessments, and administer medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for residents
  • Provide personal and nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications as prescribed
  • Directly supervise care staff to ensure resident needs are met
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
