Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Ontario Limited. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Transport Goods: Load and unload goods, and operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various routes.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Obtain Special Permits: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience as a truck driver.
Working Conditions:

As a Truck Driver at Ontario Limited, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work independently and as part of a two-person team or convoy.
