About the Role

FARAH CHOKSHI is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Housekeeping: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Administrative: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, report any maintenance or repair issues to management.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Available for the advertised start date.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate for this position.
  • Residency: Currently reside in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in this field of employment is an asset.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
