We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Trades Helper to join our team at GP Renovation Ltd.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position that involves working in various locations, loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. The successful candidate will also assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, and help with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Handling heavy loads
