About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Karigars Interiors Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes in our interior projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead a Team

Direct and oversee the work of other drywall installers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Apply and Finish Drywall Coats

Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth, even finish.

Install Drywall and Plaster Systems

Install drywall and plaster systems, including applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster.

Maintain a Safe Working Environment

Ensure a safe working environment by cleaning and preparing surfaces, curing freshly plastered surfaces, and filling joints and holes with joint compound.

Meet Project Deadlines

Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation is necessary.

Language and Communication

Fluency in English is required, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients is essential.

Work Schedule and Hours

40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
