Rheumatology Specialist

The Division of Rheumatology at William Osler Health System is seeking two Full Time Associate Rheumatologists to join the Rheumatology team at Etobicoke General Hospital.

• Participate in on call coverage for Rheumatology consultations on inpatient wards and emergency department.
• Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.

• Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario.
• Certification in Rheumatology Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or hold Fellowship in Rheumatology from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.

Selected candidates will participate in on all coverage for Rheumatology consultations on inpatient wards and emergency department.

Due to a strong Internal Medicine and Hospitalist group, there are no expectations to assume MRP on any patient.

There is opportunity for participation in clinical education and research as WOHS is an integral clinical partner in the development of the new medical school opening in Brampton in partnership with Toronto Metropolitan University.

WOHS is also affiliated with McMaster University Michael DeGroote School of Medicine Family Medicine Program as an Academic Community Teaching Site.
