Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design: Develop and implement system design and architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Integration: Coordinate and perform the integration of hardware and software components into a cohesive system.
  • Validation & Testing: Develop and execute test plans to validate system performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test reports.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide technical support, and ensure successful delivery of systems.
  • Project Management: Contribute to project planning, tracking, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of systems within budget.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, proposing enhancements to system design and development processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all systems comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including DO-178C and DO-254.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies and tools: SysML, DOORS.
    • Experience with avionics systems and familiarity with ARINC standards:
    • Knowledge of software development processes and tools: DO-178C.
    • Understanding of hardware development and certification processes: DO-254.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities:
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills:
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment:
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE):
  • Familiarity with flight control systems and cockpit display systems:
  • Experience in managing projects and leading technical teams:
