Job Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of plant floor equipment by troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting devices as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internal customers and provide timely support to resolve issues.
  • Respond to facility alarms and emergencies, and take prompt action to mitigate any potential disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot complex problems that arise, and implement effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is running at peak efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering, or a related field.
  • Programming experience, including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation, including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams.
