About the Job

We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team at Sodexo Canada Ltd. as a part-time cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and menus
  • Ensure high-quality results and meet food safety, HACCP, and OHS standards
  • Coordinate and direct all food and customer service activities
  • Plan menus, estimate quantities, and ensure proper procurement
  • Accountable for completing all HACCP-related documents provided by management
  • Set an example for other employees by applying Sodexo's food safety standards
  • Know and practice all relevant department and facility policies and procedures, including health and safety programs
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Able to work under pressure and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Cook certificate and FoodSafe certificates are assets
