We are a reputable restaurant company seeking a skilled cook to join our team. Our restaurant offers a unique dining experience, serving a variety of Italian cuisine dishes.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced cook to work in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Education: A college or CEGEP diploma is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking meals for our customers.
  • Supervision: The cook will work under the supervision of our head chef and will be responsible for following recipes and cooking techniques.
  • Cuisine Specialties: We are looking for a cook with experience in Italian cuisine.
  • Screening Questions: The ideal candidate will be able to answer the following questions:
    • Are you available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends?
    • Are you able to work in a team environment?
    • Do you have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes?
    • Are you able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time?
Requirements
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in our kitchen.
  • Work Hours: The cook will work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
