Job Title: Retail Shelf Stocker

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Retail Shelf Stocker to join our team at Africa World Market LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a well-stocked and organized store environment, ensuring that products are accurately priced and displayed, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unpack merchandise, counting and verifying inventory against delivery records
  • Stock shelves and display areas, ensuring products are facing forward and at eye level
  • Process customer transactions, including bagging and boxing purchases
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors
  • Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles
  • Assemble and install merchandise displays
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or stockroom environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
