Class 1 Driver Position

Class 1 Driver Wanted: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Class 1 driver to join our team at Chemco, a leading Western Canadian General Contractor specializing in multiple disciplines, including logistics throughout Western Canada.

As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for safely operating half-ton to tractor trailers, loading and unloading equipment and general freight, and maintaining a safe and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities:

  • Safety first attitude
  • General maintenance of trucks and trailers (greasing, housekeeping, etc.)
  • Be reliable and willing to follow company rules and policies

Requirements:

  • Flexibility of driving different vehicles for different tasks
  • Forklift, loader, skid steer, and winch truck experience an asset
  • Positive attitude
  • Needs to work well with others
  • Ability to pass pre-access Drug & Alcohol test before employment
  • There is the potential to be out of town for up to 2 weeks at a time
