Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Builden Construction Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure accurate and safe execution of tasks
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal
  • Perform tasks such as fitting, brazing, and torch-straightening metal
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Work Environment:

The Welder will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, in hot and noisy environments. The role requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 hours per week

The Welder will be required to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
