Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at North Temp Architectural Glass Products Ltd.
Job Summary:The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products, and maintaining a high level of quality control. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high-quality products.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
- Team Management: Supervise and train production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs to ensure they are within budget.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production management role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Participation in Government or Community Programs: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- On-the-Job Training: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Mentorship, Coaching, and Networking Opportunities: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
- Awareness Training: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
