As a Junior Electrical Engineer in our Seattle office, you will play a crucial role in empowering our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, contribute to global environmental sustainability, and foster a better, greener future for all.
ResponsibilitiesWhy We Need You:
In this position, you will initially collaborate with and receive mentorship from seasoned engineers while also providing guidance to designers. Your early responsibilities will encompass performing load calculations, determining system sizing and layouts, calculating equipment dimensions, selecting appropriate equipment, conducting field surveys, and reviewing equipment shop drawings. As you accumulate project experience, you will progressively take on a larger role in leading electrical project teams, drafting specifications, participating in project meetings with clients and other consultants, and supporting construction-phase activities.
QualificationsCharacteristics of Our Most Successful Junior Electrical Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) is advantageous.
- 2-3 years of experience in the MEP consulting engineering sector is preferred.
