Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Aramark Canada. As a Short Order Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality food to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to standardized recipes and production guidelines.
- Set up workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
- Safely use a variety of utensils, including knives.
- Operate equipment such as fryers, grill-tops, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including accurate food safety and sanitation.
- Assist other team members as required.
- 1-2 years of culinary experience required.
- Team player with ability to work independently as required.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
