Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' situations and needs, and develop and implement effective intervention plans to address their social and personal problems.
- Counselling and Therapy: Provide individual, family, and group counselling and therapy sessions to help clients achieve their goals and improve their well-being.
- Referral and Linkage: Identify and connect clients with community resources and services that can support their needs, such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, and medical treatment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes, and prepare reports as required.
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience: Experience working with diverse populations, particularly adolescents, adults, children, and families, is an asset.
- Certifications and Memberships: Membership in a provincial association of social workers is required.
