Key Responsibilities- Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
- Household Management: Manage household tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, and organizing, to maintain a clean and comfortable living space.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with errands and shopping, ensuring they have access to essential items and services.
- Certifications: Possess a valid CPR Certificate and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
- Language: Fluency in Tagalog is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
- Availability: Availability to work 35 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate client needs.
- Paid Time Off: Paid time off for volunteering or personal days.
- Temporary Work Term: Temporary work term with opportunities for advancement.
- English Language: Work language is English.
