Position Overview: As a vital component of our financial operations, the Accounts Payable Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of vendor transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately inputting vendor invoices into the financial system and addressing vendor inquiries regarding payments and account discrepancies.
  • Verifying that all invoices receive the necessary approvals prior to processing.
  • Facilitating weekly cheque production and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Managing monthly payments related to rent, staff funds, and garnishments.
  • Conducting vendor reconciliations for significant vendor accounts.
  • Resolving discrepancies in collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in business or accounting from a recognized institution.
  • One to two years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
  • Familiarity with computerized accounting systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a self-directed work ethic.
  • Proficient data entry skills to support a dynamic financial environment.
  • Capability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset.
