Job Summary

Associated Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Civil Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in computer-aided design and drafting, as well as geographic information systems (GIS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and expertise in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed designs and drawings
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to ensure design and drafting projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in CAD and GIS
  • Develop and maintain GIS databases and perform spatial analysis
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on CAD and GIS software

Requirements

  • Diploma in Design/Drafting Technology from an accredited technical institution
  • 3+ years' progressive experience in computer-aided drafting and design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word and Excel)
  • Experience with GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS) is an asset
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Committed team player and the ability to work independently

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $70,720.00 to $93,600.00, and is commensurate with experience relative to this position.
