Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Repairer, Motor Vehicle to perform a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to diagnose and repair complex issues.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Review work orders and plan repairs accordingly
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components
- Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
- Oversee safety of operations
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies
- 5 years or more of experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Standing for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The successful candidate will work in a garage environment with a team of experienced technicians. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift heavy equipment.
