Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for compiling and entering payroll data, posting wages, and reconciling errors to maintain accurate payroll records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and enter payroll data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Post wages and reconcile errors to maintain payroll records
  • Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
  • Record changes affecting net wages, such as exemptions and insurance coverage
  • Assist with processing payroll and enter new employee information into the software
  • Maintain files and records in written and electronic formats for compliance and reference
  • Perform other clerical duties as required, such as drafting documents and communications, scanning, filing, shredding, and data entry

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or Payroll is considered an asset
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a data entry, administrative support, or payroll support role is preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and approach situations in a diplomatic and professional manner
  • Proficiency using a payroll/accounting program
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English, with various stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are essential
