Job Title: Engineering Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team at The Engineering Institute of Canada. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Assist in scheduling and factory loading discussions.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure that all project objectives are met, including quality standards, delivery timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Support reporting on variances on standard production costs/budget cost.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are managed.
  • Prepare regular project status reports for the management team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years project coordination experience.
  • Expertise in project management, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with various departments.
  • Ability to collaborate with design, production, and engineering teams to determine how products and services could be made or modified to suit customer needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.
