Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meats: Clean and cut meats to prepare for processing or cutting, cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and wrap and package prepared meats.
- Meat Handling and Preparation: Remove bones from meat, weigh meats for sale, cut poultry into parts, price meat products, clean and prepare fish and shellfish, and sell meats to customers.
- Equipment and Machinery Operation: Operate band saws and manual cutting utensils to prepare meats.
- Team Leadership and Training: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers, train meat cutters, and prepare special orders and displays.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train, permanent employment, 40 hours per week, and English language proficiency.
