Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct resource planning and analysis, forecasting the needs for labor, materials, and equipment based on project demands.
  • Perform productivity assessments of construction operations, establishing benchmarks in collaboration with construction teams.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and dashboards to communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Analyze schedule variances and monitor key performance indicators related to project timelines.
  • Implement a progress measurement process to evaluate project performance data.
  • Manage schedule change notices and assess their impact on project delivery, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct audits on schedules produced by subcontractors and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Integrate schedules from various partners to ensure a cohesive project timeline.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and modify scheduling data as needed.
  • Perform forensic analysis of project schedules to identify delays and recommend improvements.
  • Support the integration of scheduling with 3D modeling and cost reporting.
  • Oversee project change management processes, including claims and dispute resolutions.
  • Identify commercial and scheduling risks, developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Contribute to risk mitigation planning through understanding of Monte Carlo risk analysis.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.
  • Mentor and develop project controls personnel, enhancing team capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the infrastructure and construction sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in planning and managing complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of Earned Value Management principles.
  • Proven leadership skills in guiding project planning and scheduling teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on accountability.
  • Advanced knowledge of project planning and scheduling software, including Primavera P6 and TILOS.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Hard Dollar, PowerBI, and Synchro is advantageous.
