Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, supplies, and materials between departments and locations. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and prioritize orders and instructions received from customers
  • Develop and implement plans to optimize logistics operations
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  • Monitor production progress and ensure timely delivery
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Keep track of shipments and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fast-paced environment and tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding and repetitive tasks
