Fraser Health Authority is seeking two general community plastic surgeons to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for community plastic surgery and the breadth it encompasses. A fellowship is not required, but a strong interest in general community plastic surgery, including trauma, hands, breast, and skin cancer management, is essential.
About the RoleThe successful candidates will be responsible for establishing a plastic surgery presence for Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC). ARHCC is a level 3 Trauma Centre and provides higher levels of care for the surrounding communities. The centre has dedicated weekly daytime trauma time, protected call, and a MOCAP agreement providing an on-call stipend.

What We OfferWe offer a competitive compensation package, including fee-for-service and MOCAP on-call payments. We also provide access to scheduled OR time, urgent/emergent OR time, and ambulatory care/cast clinics resources. The centre has a busy Breast Health Care Clinic and provides evidence-based care for breast cancers and breast reconstruction.

If you have been in practice for at least four years, a letter from your chief of surgery is required in lieu of your program supervisor's letter.
