Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks on vehicles. This includes:

  • Diagnostics and Repairs
    • Using state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues
    • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Tire and Wheel Services
    • Inspecting and repairing tires and wheels
    • Performing tire rotations and balancing
  • Brake and Suspension Services
    • Inspecting and repairing brake systems
    • Performing suspension repairs and alignments
  • Engine and Cooling Services
    • Inspecting and repairing engine components
    • Performing cooling system repairs and maintenance
  • Electrical and Electronics Services
    • Inspecting and repairing electrical systems
    • Performing electronics repairs and maintenance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Skills
    • Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance
    • Knowledge of vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, and engine components
    • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $38.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and uniform allowances.
