Accounting Specialist Position at Drive-Thru Tax

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team at Drive-Thru Tax. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing financial records, maintaining various accounts, and providing assistance with tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Management: Manage financial records and maintain various accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Journal Entries and Reconciliation: Complete journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Tax Return Assistance: Provide assistance with tax returns, including preparation and submission of tax forms.
  • Financial Reporting: Create and analyze financial reports to help drive business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Any prior experience is a plus.
  • Languages: English, Hindi, Panjabi.
Skills
  • MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Accounting Software: Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Caseware.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Work Environment
  • Transportation: Own vehicle preferred, public transport available.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced with tight deadlines.
