Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst, Associate Director to join our Funds & Asset Management group in Toronto. The successful candidate will support coverage of some of the group's sub-sectors, analyzing quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze portfolio performance and develop new methodologies for rating funds and structures
  • Lead on-site due diligence review meetings with fund managers and authors research on relevant trends
  • Review legal documentation and develop financial models and databases
  • Present rating recommendations to committees and mentor team members
  • Participate in industry events and interact with investors and market participants
Requirements
  • 4-8 years of experience in finance, with exposure to funds or structured finance transactions
  • Sound academic track record to at least a bachelor's degree level, preferably in finance, economics, statistics, accounting, or computer science
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
