Job Summary

Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated units, to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Trucks: Safely drive and operate a range of heavy trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated units, to transport goods and materials.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
  • Logistics and Route Planning: Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, while also considering factors such as traffic, weather, and road conditions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes, to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Valid AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license and a clean driving record.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience as a truck driver.
  • Education: Possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent travel required.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
