As a leading family practice and 24-hour Emergency and Referral Center in New Brunswick, we pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art facility, equipped with advanced technologies such as cardiac ultrasound, CT scans, radio-iodine therapy, and dental root canals.
Our diverse team of over 75 professionals, including 16 DVMs, comprises specialists in various fields, including a clinical behaviorist and experienced surgeons.
With over 30 years of AAHA accreditation, we have established ourselves as pioneers in advanced veterinary care, complemented by our Gold-level Cat Friendly Practice accreditation.
We are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian with a focus on Orthopedic Surgery to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive range of orthopedic services, from initial evaluation through to surgical intervention and post-operative care. Our collaborative team is fully equipped to support the DVM throughout the entire process.
Our orthopedic services include:
- Femoral Head Osteotomy (canine and feline)
- Patella luxation surgery (Unilateral and Bilateral)
- Spinal Surgery (IVDD)
- Fracture repairs - Simple and Complicated with hardware
- Ulnar Osteotomy (unilateral and bilateral)
- Fractured Coronoid Process-FCP
Leadership:
You will be part of an orthopedic team led by Dr. Francis Arsenault, our Medical Director, alongside Dr. Lethan Dwan, an Associate Veterinarian with extensive experience in advanced surgical techniques.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Licensure (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in New Brunswick
- A strong commitment to client education and relationship building
