About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Textile Grader to join our team at J & A INTERNATIONAL INC. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our textile products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Grade Textiles: Examine fabric or products for conformity to quality standards, identifying any defects or irregularities.
  • Inspect and Grade Hides, Pelts, or Leather: Carefully inspect hides, pelts, or leather to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Inspect Finished and Pre-Finished Products: Thoroughly inspect finished and pre-finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Mark Defects: Clearly mark any defects or irregularities found during inspection.
  • Package Products: Package products in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Prepare Samples: Prepare samples of products for quality control purposes.
  • Record Information: Record information on products inspected or graded, including any defects or irregularities found.
  • Repair Minor Defects: Repair minor defects or irregularities found during inspection.
  • Sort Products: Sort products by style, color, size, length, or other criteria as required.
  • Trim Excess Material: Trim excess material from products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

This role is based in a clothing/textile manufacturing company, where you will be working with a team of experienced professionals.
